Below are descriptions of the after-school programs offered at OHDS:

Aftercare

The OHDS Aftercare Program runs Monday-Thursday, from 4-5:30 p.m., includes a snack and free play time, and is lovingly overseen by our b'not sherut from Israel.

  • There is no aftercare on Fridays or early dismissal days (such as those before a holiday).

  • You may register for just one day, repeat days (ex. Wednesdays), or every day of the week, Monday-Thursday, for which we offer a monthly plan.

After-School Enrichment

A variety of clubs are offered each year at OHDS, with some recent options including Art Club, Chess Club, Coding Club, Deep Racer (Autonomous Vehicle Club), and Musical Theater. Parents may also book private music lessons after school as well.

All after-school programming runs from 4-5:30 p.m. (with the exception of middle school sports games, which may run later).

Middle School Athletics

OHDS offers middle school students a three-season year: pickleball in the fall (September-November), a boys and a girls basketball team in the winter (November-March), and a co-ed volleyball team in the spring (March-May). All students are encouraged to participate – most years we have over 70% of our middle school sign up for one or more sports!
